We are thrilled to announce that our paper "GPCRmd uncovers the dynamics of the 3D-GPCRome" has been just published on Nature Methods (DOI:https://doi.org/10.1038/s41592-020-0884-y) GPCRmd is an online platform with web-based visualization capabilities and a comprehensive analysis toolbox that allows scientists from any discipline to visualize, inspect, and analyse GPCR molecular dynamics. It is a community-driven initiative with the final aim to accelerate basic research and beyond the discovery of more efficient and safer therapeutics. We would like to announce that brainstorm@home will support this unique community-based project in future. |

That's a great news Mariona! I wish you and your colleague the best. How will Brainstorm@Home be helpful for that? By pre-computing the datasets or computing the user's submissions? Are you in touch with your colleagues at GpuGrid (also based at Pompeu-Fabra)? I know they are working on an extensive MD dataset. I'd be very happy to contribute to this project because neuroscience is one of the fields that fascinates me more and there are no other Boinc projects working on this. Do you have any ETA for when the work will be available here? Also an order of magnitude would be nice, like a month, months, year, years... Thank you |
